We are offering three different tiers of membership for our student organization: standard membership, junior membership, and Friends of AIME (support). Standard and junior memberships expire at the end of every spring semester, and support membership expires after a year. Membership funds help us provide materials for events and workshops, as well as to help us grow!
You do NOT need to be a member to attend our general meetings, social events, or community events (such as Robotronica).
Memberships may be paid directly to our President, Secretary, or Treasurer by cash or check. We hope to offer an online payment method here very soon, so be sure to check back!
Standard Membership – $20*
Must be a Chico State student, have intent to transfer to Chico State, or be an officer of AIME.
Standard membership will include:
- E-mail announcements
- Newsletters
- Workshop fee waivers
- Member T-shirt
- small surprise at end of the year
*If you would like to be a standard member, but do not want the T-shirt, membership is $10.
Junior Membership – $20
Must be a local high school student, show interest in engineering, have a 3.0 GPA or better (lower GPAs will be considered on a case-by-case basis), and a simple teacher recommendation. Junior membership may be limited, so we want to be sure our younger members contribute to our club as if they were university students as they are representatives of our organization.
Junior membership will include:
- E-mail announcements
- Newsletters
- Workshop fee waivers
- Member T-shirt
- small surprise at the end of the year
Friends of AIME – $10 / Event Participation / Donations ***PENDING***
This level of membership is available to anyone! Individuals or businesses that support AIME through monetary, time, volunteering, event sponsorship, or other forms of donation will automatically become Friends of AIME; if you’d like to just stay in contact with us in a formal manner, this is another option. Friends of AIME members will be listed as supporters of our organization on our website and event informational materials. This is a great option for Chico State Alumni who wish to continue to support and keep in contact with AIME after they have graduated!
Friends of AIME membership includes:
- Newsletters
- Website and event acknowledgement for up to a year
- Specially-designed T-shirt for our supporters
